DPI: Average Deficiency per Inspection (Smaller is Better)
Average number of deficiencies per inspection.

DER: Detention Rate % (Smaller is Better)
Percentage of detentions per 100 inspections.

DIR: Deficiency Inspection Rate % (Smaller is Better)
Percentage of inspections with deficiencies per 100 inspections.

FDR: Five Deficiencies Rate % (Smaller is Better)
Percentage of inspections with 5 or more deficiencies per 100 inspections.

AGA: Adjusted Global Average
Accounting the type, size and age of vessels on the global calculation table to provide comparable figures against local figures.

CAA: Country Adjusted Average
Accounting the type, size and age of vessels on the country’s calculation table against global figures.

ADR: Average Deviation Rate (Smaller is Better)
Considerating ship types, age and tonnage by indicating the % deviation against the corresponding industry standard.

This factor is the average of the four key KPIs (DPI, DER, DIR, FDR) calculated for Countries, Ports, Companies and vessels, as they are compared with the adjusted global average.

The average of percentage deviation is called Average Deviation Rate and gives the status of overall performance compared with global statistics.
