  • Deficiency Code 15150 – ISM, which is the top detainable finding, is not a standalone code and it is used to describe the general situation on board and the failure of SMS implementation. For this reason, it is excluded from the top-20 list.
Highlights
  • Singapore is the most visited port in Tokyo MoU Region. It is a rather strict port as Port Detention Rate is 157% higher than Tokyo MoU overall.
  • In most fleet segments the trend between Singapore and Tokyo for DER% is increased.
  • Almost all fleet segments mark Detention Rates higher than Tokyo MoU Average (Only Capesize, Suezmax, Feeder, Ultra Large Containers, Vehicle carriers and Ro Pax have Lower figures).
  • Most detainable deficiencies vary in different segments and cover mostly the areas of Emergency Systems, Fire Safety and Water/Weathertight Conditions varying from segment to segment.
