Smart PSC Automated Risk Checklist (SPARC)

The RISK4SEA Smart PSC Automated Risk Checklist (SPARC) is the industry’s best and most effective one, covering the following:

• It is Ship, port and Company Specific
• Includes any CiC and/or FiC items on MoU, State or Local level
• Includes Company Guidance
• Includes all Trending Detainable Items in Port as 1st priority (these are the detainable items that have been repeated consistently over the last 10 detentions)
• Includes all Derailable Items with sufficient marking
• Includes all CiC/FiC items
• Includes all vessel repeat Items (that have been repeated more than once over the last 36 months, identifying  ship vulnerability)
• Includes any common items in the deficiency profile between ship, manager and port, to the preference of the manager
• Includes any Ship Top10 items (irrespective if these are due for this port, depending on manager preferences)

The SPARC may be delivered by:

• E-mail and XLS Attachment (on a stand alone basis or along with the POCRA)
• E-mail and Web Delivery via Web Application (where feedback inputed will be available immediately to manager via the Dashboards)
• Standard format or Rank Specific (in either XLS or Web delivery)

The SPARC Functionality also includes the following:

• The trimming/expansion of the list to user preferences with upper and lower limit of items provided
• The inclusion of exclusion of specific ports/MoU specific Guidance
• The full integration with Future Calls and PSC Dashboards so that it may be reviewed at any time
