Highlights
  • Novorossiysk is the most visited port in Black Sea MoU Region. It is a rather strict port as Port DER is 63% higher than Black Sea MoU overall. The Clean Inspections Rate of previous 36M, was 30% and same has been now reduced to 17% (almost the half), showing an alarming trend.
  • Almost all fleet segments mark Detention Rates higher than Black Sea MoU Average (Only LR1/2, and Suezmax, have Lower figures). 
  • LPG show a significant problematic PSC Performance with 9% Detention Rate.
  • Most detainable deficiencies vary in different segments and cover mostly the areas of Emergency Systems, Fire Safety, Propulsion and LSA varying from segment to segment. However as a highlight, the deficiency code 04101-Public Address System is not a common detainable code worldwide, but a specific local issue.
